Part 1:

If you want to learn about the american revolution you need to learn about a very important person. Yes! George Washington.

When Washington was in the war he lived in Virginia. But, he wanted to help the military.

So, he went to the military and he was sent to a lot of wars, such as the French and Indian war. He also helped with the Quartering act, Stamp act, and the Navigation act.

After all those wars, battles, and victories, George Washington ended from being a military soldier and later a commander, to being the president of the U.S. People liked him so much that they wanted him to be the president for years. But like everyone in December 14, 1799 he died. And if you want to learn about George Washington and his history. KEEP READING!

Part 2:

As l said in the first chapter Washington was a great person. And like everything in life if you do something well, you get your reward. George Washington's reward was that he got a medal of honor and he met a lot of great people, such as Lafayette and Rochambeau. But most of all, he became president.

Part 3:

In the French and Indian war, Washington played a very small part in the military by sending a secret message and people saw that he was very trustworthy. After the French and Indian war, in 1774 when the British started to put taxes on the American colonies, George Washington led protests as a son of liberty.

After he led the small “army” he also sneaked some things from the british, such as gunpowder, guns, and cannons.

Finally, he went to the battle of Yorktown and won independence for his country against the British.

Part 4:

After Washington won independence from the British, he went back to his wife and his 2 sons to rest for 1 or 2 months, but people wanted Washington to be president of the U.S. So, he finally accepted.

George Washington was a very good president and some people in 2020 still consider him the best president in U.S history. When he died In December 14, 1774, people loved him so much they honored him for being such a good president by calling a state Washington D.C.

Part 5:

George Washington was a great leader because he had experience, because he used good strategies and because he worked with other people.

Washinton was a great leader because he had experiences in other wars.

For example, he fought in the French and Indian war, which they won. He also fought in the Threnton war, and finally, he fought in the Battle of Yorktown and there they won independence from the British. This shows that he has a lot of military experience.

Another reason he was a great leader is that he always used good strategies.

For example, he fought with hidden soldiers, he stole gun powder, cannons, guns, and ammunition from the british. And he trained normal people and showed them how to be a professional soldier. He also showed them where to position so they could have advantage over his rivals. Finally, he did a surprise attack on December 25, so the british paid soldiers were not ready. This shows that he had a lot of good strategies to fight against the British.

The last reason Washington was a great leader is that he worked well with other people.

For example, he worked well with Lafayette who gave 200,000 dollars to Washington to spend on uniforms and weapons to fight in the Battle of Brandywine. He also got along well with Rochambeau and De Grasse. They joined forces to surround the british causing general Cornwallis to surrender. This is important because this is how they won the war and freedom from the British. This shows that Washington was a great leader and worked well with others.

In conclusion, Washington is a great leader because he had a lot of military experience, because he had good strategies fighting against the British, and because he worked well with other people. Today armies are bigger and have smarter weapons and technology but that doesn't mean they are better leaders than George Washington.
